Ingredients:
1/2 cup cream or evaporated milk
1/2 cup sugar
1 egg well beaten
1 tsp vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Mix milk, sugar, vanilla, add snow and stir in gently, adding snow until thick and creamy . Best to mix outside in the cold. We made this with raw eggs when I was a child. Now I prefer to cook the milk and sugar just enough to have a light custard. Play with this recipe. Have more sugar and milk ready if its not sweet enough. Eggs are optional. Wet fluffy snow works better. Serves: 2-3 Prep: 5-10 min.

Personal Notes:
Most winters in Arkansas we did not get a lot of snow. Before refrigerators this was a real treat. It is not like any ice cream you buy commercially, so try this only if you enjoy things different.
