Batter:
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. margarine
1 egg
1 c. mashed banana
1 1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
pinch salt
1 tsp. baking soda in 2 T. hot water

Topping:
1/4 stick margarine
1/4 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. cinnamon

Directions:
Directions:
For batter: Mix sugar, margarine and egg in mixer. Beat about 2 minutes. Add bananas: mix well. Add flour, nutmeg, salt and soda-water mixture. Fill muffin cups 2/3 full. Bake at 350 for about 20-25 minutes.
For topping: Melt margarine, mix sugar and cinnamon. Dip hot muffins in margarine and then into sugar mixture.
