1/2 cup butter, softened
2 cups sugar
3 eggs
1-1/2 cups mashed ripe bananas
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 cups all purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
Pinch of salt
FROSTING:
1/2 cup butter
1 package of cream cheese, 8 ounces, softened
4 cups confectioner sugar
2 teaspoons vanilla extract

Directions:
Directions:
Add to a mixing bowl softened butter and sugar. Beat in eggs, bananas and vanilla. Combine the flour, baking soda, and salt. Add to creamed mixture and mix well. Pour into a greased 15 x 10 x 1 inch baking pan. Bake at 350 for 25 minutes or until bars taste done. Cool. While baking, prepare the frosting by adding the soft butter and cream cheese in a mixing bowl. Slowly add confectioners sugar and vanilla and beat well. Spread over bars.
