1 package cranberries
1 1/2 cup of sugar
1 cup of water

Directions:
Directions:
Place cranberries in a strainer and carefully wash cranberries. Be sure to remove all stems. Place in a pot with the water and sugar. Cook on high until boiling. Stir at boiling for another 2 minutes. Cranberries should be thickening. Strain cranberries and chill. Prepare a day ahead.

I have made this recipe with Julieanne every year for our Thanksgiving dinner. The original recipe calls for only 1 cup of sugar, but I have increased it for our family's taste.
