1/2 cup shortening (Crisco)
2 cups sugar
4 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
3 cups flour
1 cup milk
2 teaspoons baking powder
TOPPING
1 cup brown sugar
2 teaspoons flour
4 tablespoons butter
1 tablespoon cinnamon

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350. Mix 1st 4 ingredients well. Add the next 3 ingredients, mix well and pour into a 9 x 13 greased cake pan. Next mix the topping ingredients and drop by the spoonful on top of the cake mixture. Lastly take a knife and swirl the cake mix in a figure eight pattern until the topping is cut into the cake. Bake for 35 - 40 minutes.
