Amounts approximate:
1 qt. strawberries, sliced thin if large or halved if small; 1 pt. raspberries or blackberries;
2 tsp finely shredded lemon peel;
2 T. balsamic vinegar;
1 cup thawed, light whipped dessert topping;
fresh mint leaves.

Directions:
Directions:
Prepare your berries and lemon peel ahead of time in a covered bowl, toss gently to mix and chill til serving time.
Stir the balsamic vinegar into the dessert topping.
At serving time spoon berrie-lemon peel mix into stemmed glasses. Spoon a big dollop of balsamic cream over berry mixture.
Garnish with a little sprig of mint leaves, if the spirit so moves you.

This little dessert is sooo easy to fix, perfect for when your berries (or the green grocers) are ripe and sweet, and fantastic after a warm evening's dinner with a small group of guests. Yum!
