2 c. flour
1 c. sugar
2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. salt
1 stick butter
1 c. oil
1/4 c. cocoa
1 c. water
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. baking soda

Frosting:
1 stick butter
1/4 c milk
1/4 c cccoa
1 lb. powdered sugar
1/2 t vanilla
1/2 c nuts (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Pre heat oven 400
Mix sugar, flour, cinnamon and salt in large mixing bowl. Set aside. In a medium sauce pan, melt butter add oil, water and cocoa and bring to a boil.
Pour this over the flour mixture and blend. Add eggs, vanilla, buttermilk and soda and mix well.

Pour into a swallow cookie sheet pan and bake 20 minutes.

Frosting:
In a medium sauce pan, bring to a boil butter, milk and cocoa. Add powdered sugar, vanilla and nuts (optional). Pour frosting over warm cake and let cool.

For buttermilk, mix 1/2 tsp. cider to 1/2 c. milk. Let stand for 10 minutes
