2-3 cups of water
1-2 cups of milk
1 tsp salt
1 cup grits
1/2 stick butter
1 cup grated cheese
3-4 well beaten eggs
Wesson oil

Directions:
Directions:
Bring water, milk and salt to a boil. Add grits slowly, stirring constantly. When thickened remove from the heat. Add butter and grated cheese; mix. Let cool, then mix in the eggs. Put into a casserole greased with Wesson oil. Bake uncovered at 350F for 30 minutes.
