FIRST STEP
1 stick softened oleo
1 c. flour
1 c. finely chopped pecans or walnuts (opt)
Mix with pastry blender till crumbly and press into 9 x l3 pan.
Bake 15 minutes @ 400.
Cool.

SECOND STEP
2 large cream cheese
2 c. powdered sugar
Mix together till well blended and fold in
2 c. Cool Whip topping
Spread over cooled crust.

THIRD STEP
2 small pkgs instant lemon pudding
2 c. milk
Mix and spread over cream cheese layer.

FOURTH STEP
Spread thin layer of Cool Whip on top of pudding and sprinkle with finely chopped nuts if desired.
