Cream together 1/2 cup brown packed sugar, 1/2 cup oleo add and blend 1 cup flour. Pat into bottom of 8" square pan. Bake 350 degrees for 10 minutes or until brown. While first mixture is baking mix 2 eggs, beaten, 1 cup brown sugar (packed), 2 tablespoons flour, 1 teaspoon baking powder, 1/4 teaspoon salt, 1 teaspoon vanilla, 1 can coconut, 1/2 cup chopped nuts - pour over first mixture and bake at 350 about 25 to 30 minutes. Cool and cut into squares.
