1/2 c Butter (no substitute) softened
1/4 c sugar
1/4 tsp almond extract
11/2 c flour
4 tsp multi-colored nonpareils

Directions:
Directions:
Heat over 325 degrees. Combine butter sugar and almond extract in medium bowl. Beat at medium speed scraping bowl often until creamy Reduce speed to low and add flour. Beat until well mixed. Stir in nonpareils. Line 8x8 pan with plastic food wrap leaving 1 inch overlapping. Knead mixture 45 times in bowl until dough forms a ball. Pat dough into prepared pan. Use plastic wrap to lift dough from pan. Cut dough in 1/2 inch squares. Gently place squares 1/2 inch apart onto un-greased cookie sheets, discard plastic wrap. Bake 1416 minutes or until bottoms just begin to brown.
