2 cups white sugar
1 tsp nutmeg
4 cups chopped apples
1 tsp cinnamon
2 eggs
1 cup salad oil
3 cups sifted flour
1 tsp vanilla
2 tsp baking soda
1 cup chopped nuts
1 tsp salt
raisins

Directions:
Directions:
Mix sugar and apples. Let sit one hour. Add eggs. Stir in remaining ingredients; mix well and beat for 2-3 minutes. Add nuts. Pour into a large greased and floured tube pan. Bake for 1 hr at 325F until cake test done.
