1/2 cup non-fat dry milk
1/2 cup very cold water
2 to 3 Tbs. lemon juice
1/4 cup sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Combine the dry milk and ice water. Beat rapidly until soft peaks form.. (If using electric mixer, beat a high speed for 3 to 4 minutes). Add lemon juice and beat until stiff. Fold in the sugar. Contains ~ 53 calories, trace of fat and 2 mg. cholesterol per 1/2 cup serving. - Delaware Cooperative Extension

For whipped fruit topping: substitute 1/2 cup ice cold tart fruit juice (cherry, apricot, orange or pineapple) for the cold water and decrease the lemon juice to 1 tablespoon.
