1 (3 oz) package cream cheese, softened
1/2 tsp peppermint extract
2 to 2 1/2 cups powdered sugar
food coloring

Directions:
Directions:
Mix the cream cheese with the peppermint extract. Gradually add in the powdered sugar and knead until no longer sticky. Divide into 4 portions and knead in the food coloring of your choice. Shape into 3/4 inch balls, roll in powdered sugar and flatten with a fork. Let dry at room temperature, then store loosely covered in the refrigerator.
