1/2 pound country style pork sausage
2 pounds lean ground beef
5 slices bread, crumbled
1 envelope onion soup mix
2 eggs, slightly beaten
1/2 c plus 3 tbsp spaghetti sauce (divided)
1/2 tsp seasoned salt
pepper to taste

Directions:
In medium size skillet, cook sausage over low heat, breaking it up with a fork. Drain fat as it accumulates. Do not let sausage get brown. In large mixing bowl, mix well-drained sausage with ground beef. Add bread crumbs and onion soup and mix well. Add eggs, 1/2 c spaghetti sauce, seasoned salt and pepper. Mix thoroughly. Pack mixture into a well-greased 9x5x3 inch loaf pan.

Bake in preheated 350 oven for 2 hours or until done. Halfway through cooking, spread 3 tbsp spaghetti sauce on top of loaf. When done invert on platter and serve.
