(4) 3 oz. packages cream cheese
1-1/2 cups of sugar
2-2/3 cups broken pretzels
1-1/2 cups melted butter (3 cubes)
(1) 8 oz. container Cool Whip©..
(1) 6 oz. package strawberry Jello©..
2 cups pineapple juice
16 oz. package frozen whole unsweetened strawberries

Cream the cream cheese and sugar. Set aside. Place pretzels and melted butter in baking dish (13x9") and bake at 400º for 10 minutes. Cool slightly.

Add cream cheese mixture over the top of the pretzels. Place in fridge and cool.

Bring pineapple juice to a boil and add jello; dissolve. Remove from heat and stir in strawberries. Allow to thicken to almost jelling point.

Spread Cool Whip over the cool cheese mixture.

Spread strawberry mixture over the top.

This is from my mom's recipe file. My cousin, Jo Ann, always begs Mom to make it for family gatherings. At this point in time, Mom thinks it's a pain in the neck to make. Too many steps. However, the result is delicious!!!
