5 medium sliced onions, 1 tb. butter, 1 1/2 tsp. flour, 2 cans beef broth, salt and pepper to taste, 4 slices toasted French bread, 1/2 c. shredded Mozzarella cheese

Directions:
Directions:
Saute onions in butter until tender. Sprinkle onions with flour and cook 2-3 minutes until golden brown. Add broth, salt and pepper. Simmer 20 minutes. Preheat broiler. Ladle soup into ovenproof bowls and top with toast. Sprinkle with cheese and broil until cheese melts.
