1 cup sugar
1/2 cup shortening
2 eggs
3 mashed bananas
3 tbsp. sour milk
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
2 cups flour

Directions:
Directions:
Cream together sugar and shortening. Mix in egg and add mashed banana. Stir in milk. (Sour milk: Add 1/2 tbsp. vinegar to 1/2 cup whole milk and let stand for 15 min.) Add 3 tbsp. of sour milk to recipe. Sift dry ingredients and add to banana mixture. Place in greased and lightly floured loaf pan and bake in 350 degree oven about 1 hour. Use knife to check middle of bread to see if done.
