3 hard cooked eggs
2 large onions
1 lb chicken livers
3 T. oil
1/2 t. salt
pepper to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Chop onions. Rinse and drain livers. Heat oil. Add onions and stir over moderately low heat, stirring frequntly until golden. Add livers and cook over moderately high heat about 5 min. until brown and and resilient. Chop all ingredients together.

There are as many recipes for chopped liver as there are Jewish mothers. This is just a guideline. Kosher people broil the livers, not saute them.
