1 Cooled Baked Pie Shell-set aside
1 Tbls Gelatin (soften in 1/4 Cup Cold Water)
1 Cup Sugar
4 Tblsp Flour
1 1/2 Cup Milk
1/2 tsp. Salt
3/4 tsp Vanilla
1/4 tsp. Almond Extract
1/2 Cup Whipping cream
3 Egg Whites
1/4 tsp. Cream of Tartar
1 Cup Shredded Coconut

Directions:

Mix in saucepan - 1/2 Cup Sugar, 4 Tbsp Flour, 1 1/2 Cup Milk, 1/2 tsp. Salt. Cook over low heat, stirring until boils. Boil for 1 minute. Remove from heat. Stir in softened gelatin. Cool.

When partially set, beat with rotary beater until smooth. Blend in 3/4 tsp. Vanilla and 1/4 tsp. Almond extract.

Fold in 1/2 Cup Whipping Cream (whipped stiff)

Fold in Merangue of 3 egg whites, 1/4 tsp Cream of Tartar and 1/2 Cup Sugar.

Fold in 1 Cup shredded Coconut.

Pile into cooled baked pie shell
