2/3 c butter
2/3 c shortening
1 c sugar
1 c brown sugar
2 eggs
2 tsp vanilla
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
3 c flour
1 c nuts (optional)
12 oz chocolate chips

Directions:
Directions:
Put butter, shortening, sugars in large bowl and mix until creamy. Add the eggs, vanilla, soda, and salt. Sift and stir in the flour. Stir in the nuts and chocolate chips. Bake on an ungreased cookie sheet for 12 to 14 minutes. (No oven temp was given, I guess 350).
