Ingredients:  
2 c flour
2 c sugar
Sift flour and sugar together into a bowl.

1/2 c Crisco or similar shortening
1 stick margarine
1 c water
4 T cocoa
Combine and bring to boil; then add to flour-sugar mixture.

2 slightly beaten eggs
1/2 c buttermilk
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. cinnamon (optional)
1 tsp. vanilla
Combine and beat into above batter.

Bake at 400 degrees for 25 min. in a slightly greased 11 x 15 x 1 inch sheet pan. Remove from heat and ice immediately.

Icing for Texas Sheath Cake -
Make icing 5 minutes before cake is done - icing will be thin.

Bring to rolling boil:
1 stick margarine
6 T milk
4 T cocoa
Remove from heat and beat in:
1 box conf. sugar
1 c nuts
1 tsp. vanilla

Spread on cake immediately after taking cake from over.
