1 1/2 c plus 2 tbsp flour
3/4 tsp baking powder
3/4 tsp salt
2/3 tsp baking soda
3/4 c plus 2 tbsp softened butter
3/4 c firmly packed brown sugar
1/3 c sugar
3/4 tsp vanilla extract
1 egg
3/4 c toasted coconut
3/4 c chopped macadamia nuts
1 (10 oz) pkg chocolate chips (milk chocolate)

Preheat oven to 375.
In bowl, combine flour, baking powder, salt and baking soda; set aside. In bowl beat butter, brown sugar, sugar, and vanilla extract until creamy. Add egg; mix well. Gradually add flour mixture. Stir in coconut, macadamia nuts and chocolate chips. Drop by slightly rounded tablespoons onto ungreased cookie sheets. Bake 10 to 12 minutes. All to stand 2 minutes before removing from cookie sheet; cool completely.
