4 1/2 c raisins
4 1/2 c pitted sliced pitted dates
4 c coarsely chopped nuts
1 1/2 pounds candied fruit mix
1/3 c honey
1/2 c fruit juice
1 1/2 c butter
2 c brown sugar, packed
6 eggs
3 c flour
3/4 tsp salt
1/2 tsp soda
1 1/2 tsp cinnamon
3/4 tsp cloves
3/4 tsp mace

Directions:

Grease 10 inch tube pan; line with aluminum foil, then grease foil. Combine raisins, dates, nuts and candied fruit. Add honey and juice, mixing well. Cream butter; add sugar and beat until fluffy. Beat in eggs one at a time. Combine dry ingredients; add to egg sugar mixture. Stir into fruit-nut mixture. Spoon batter into prepared pan. Bake in 275 oven for 3 hours and 15 minutes or until done. Cool in pan. Turn out and remove foil. Wrap in cheese cloth soaked in juice. Let ripen in cool place.
