1 pound cake (can be frozen and thawed),
1/4 c orange juice
1/2 c strawberry preserves
2 c vanilla pudding or custard
2 c fresh fruit (sliced strawbnerries, bananas, or peaches,) or canned fruit (crushed pineapple, and mandarin orange segments.)
Whipped cream optional

Cut pound cake into 10 slices, cut each one into 8 cubes. Place 1/2 cubes in 2 1/2 quart glass bowl; sprinkle with 1/2 of orange juice. Spoon 1/2 of preserves over cubes then layer on 1/2 of pudding and 1/2 of fruit. Repeat with remaining pound cake, orange juice, preserves, pudding and fruit. Chill covered, to blend flavors 2 hours before serving. Garnish with whipped cream, if desired.
