6 tbsp butter
1 c brown sugar
1 1/4 c dark corn syrup
1/4 tsp salt
1 1/2 tsp vanilla
4 eggs, beaten
2 c pecan halves
1 pastry recipe

Directions:
Directions:
Line nine inch pie pan with your favorite pastry. Freeze unbaked. Cream together butter and sugar. Add syrup gradually. Add salt and vanilla and mix well. Add eggs and stir in nuts. Pour filling into frozen pastry. Freeze, then wrap and return to freezer for storage. Can be held at zero degrees or below for 8 months.

To bake: Remove pie from freezer wrapping, and while still frozen place in preheated oven set at 375 for 1 hour.
