1 lb lean ground beef
1/4 c chopped onion
1 tbsp chili powder
1 tbsp ground cumin
1 t salt
1 t pepper
1 t garlic powder
4 c gently packed romaine lettuce; cut into bite size
1 c rinsed and drained can kidney beans
1 c shredded american cheese
1/4 c sliced ripe olives
1 bottle (8oz) Thousand Island Dressing
1 to 2 c tortilla chips
1/2 c cherry tomato halves

In 10" skillet, brown ground beef with onions, chili powder, cumin, salt, pepper and garlic powder. Cover and refrigerate at least 2 hours. In large bowl, combine romaine, beans, cheese, onion and olives. Add 3/4 c of ground beef mixture and toss lightly to mix gently. Drizzle with salad dressing. Garnish with chips, tomatoes, and remaining ground beef mixture.
