Ingredients:  
1/2 c lukewarm water
1 package yeast
2 c lukewarm milk
1 tsp salt
1/2 c melted butter or oil
2 Tbsp sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Put in large container or mixing bowl water and yeast. Let stand 5 minutes. Add milk, salt and butter. Beat in 2 cups flour. Cover container. let stand in refrigerator at least 8 hours before using. When ready to use: Beat in 2 eggs and 1/4 teaspoon baking soda Note: In summer, serve blueberry pie filling over waffles: in winter serve with Cider syrup. Must be made at least 8 hours ahead of use. Can be saved and 1 cup makes a starter. Proceed with step 2 if using starter. The longer dough stands, the more “sour” it is.
