This recipe for Freezing Corn, by Sally Winkler, is from Farm Kitchen - The Cornucopia,
one of the cookbooks created at FamilyCookbookProject.com. We help
families or individuals create heirloom cookbook treasures.
Take each ear and pull shucks back. Remove all silk and put shucks back over corn. Fasten with a rubber band, wrap each in heavy duty foil and store in freezer bags.
These directions for freezing corn is in Aunt Sally's writing. I don't recall having seen it done either by Aunt Sally or Mom. It may work for short term freezing when corn production gets ahead of us.
