1 cup of sugar
1/3 cup of corn syrup
1/3 cup of water
1/4 cup of butter
1/2 tsp of salt
1/2 tsp of vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Combined in a heavy bottomed sauce pan the sugar, water, corn syrup, and salt. Cook stirring constantly until the sugar is dissolved. Continue to cook without stirring until syrup reaches 270 or brittle ball stage. Add vanilla and pour syrup over the popped corn in a large container. With a wooden spoon mix thoroughly until you have covered the kernels with the candy.

With buttered hand, start to form the balls with the corn, be careful it will be hot.
