"I have long believed that good food, good eating is all about risk. Whether we're talking about unpasteurized Stilton, raw oysters or working for organized crime 'associates,' food, for me, has always been an adventure."--Anthony Bourdain
3-1/2 cups of flour 3 teaspoons baking powder 2 teaspoons salt 3/4 cup vegetable oil 1 cup water 2 tablespoons cracked pepper ( or coarse ground)
Mix all ingredients well with dough paddle (in mixer). Form into sticks or into 1-1/2 inch diameter balls. Bake at 400º for 20 to 25 minutes on ungreased cookie sheet. Sprinkle with powdered sugar while warm.
This is not a sweet cookie but great for a party where they may be looking for something not really sweet.
