1 yellow cake mix
1 20 oz. can of crushed pineapple
1 cup of sugar
1 3 oz pkg of instant vanilla pudding
1 cup of coconut
1 8 oz carton of cool whip
1 cup of chopped pecans

Directions:
Directions:
In a 9x13 cake pan bake the yellow cake as directed on the box. Meanwhile mix the pineapple and sugar together and simmer until it starts to thicken a little. When cake is done, remove from oven and poke holes in the top with a meat fork. Spread the pineapple mixture over the cake and chill. Mix the pudding as directed on the box, add the coconut, and spread this over the cooled cake. Top the cake with the cool whip and sprinkle with the chopped nuts.
