1 bunch broccoli
2 cans chicken broth
3 cups milk
1/2 cup flour
1 stick butter or margarine
1/2 cup chopped onion
3 stalks celery, chopped
6 ounces cream cheese, cut into cubes
1 cup ham

Directions:
Directions:
Cook broccoli until tender crisp in chicken broth. Drain & reserve broth. Cook onion & celery in butter, stir in 1/2 cup flour until smooth. Slowly add the broth and 3 cups milk. Cook until thickened, stirring often. Add the broccoli & cream cheese, stir until cream cheese is melted. Add diced ham & heat - do not boil.

The recipe called for l head cauliflower instead of broccoli & sometimes I use a frozen package of California Blend vegetables instead.
