3 cups chicken broth
6 tablespoons butter
3 tablespoons chopped greeen onion
1/2 cup flour
1/2 cup cubed, cooked chicken breast
2 cups cooked wild rice
1/4 cup finely grated carrots
3 tablespoons chopped pecans (optional)
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1 cup evaporated milk
Parsley (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
In medium saucepan, melt butter & saute onion. Blend in flour; gradually add hot broth. Cook, stirring constantly until mixture comes to a boil. Boil 1 minute. Stir in chicken, wild rice, carrots, pecans & pepper; simmer 5 minutes. Blend in evaporated milk; heat to serving temperature. Garnish with parsley.
