3/4 c. butter
1 large onion, chopped
2 stalks celery, chopped
2 c. any vegetable desired, chopped
1 c. flour
1 qt. hot water
2 T. chicken broth seasoning
2 c. milk
salt and pepper to taste
2 c. half and half

Directions:
Directions:
Melt butter in large pan and add chopped onion, celery and desired vegetable. Saute, covered until tender about 10 minutes. Stir in flour and add water, chicken seasoning and milk. Cook stirring until thickened. Season with salt and pepper as desired and stir in half and half. Do not boil again. Add a little rosemary, basic, nutmeg, etc. according to the vegetable used.

Potato soup is awesome! When I make potato soup I then top with grated cheese and add real bacon bits.
