"As I ate the oysters with their strong taste of the sea and their faint metallic taste that the cold white wine washed away, leaving only the sea taste and the succulent texture, and as I drank their cold liquid from each shell and washed it down with the crisp taste of the wine, I lost the empty feeling and began to be happy, and to make plans."--Ernest Hemingway
2 cups flour 2 eggs Dash of salt. Any type of broth
Put flour and salt in bowl, crack eggs to one side of bowl and try to keep the eggs away from the flour, and this will make the little dumplings in your soup. Boil broth and drop these small dumplings in and this makes a wonderful soup. Can add flavoring, chicken or beef.
Mom always said that pork broth with chicken flavoring makes the best chicken soup or dumplings.
