1 can evaporated milk, 12 oz.
3/4 cup margarine
4 egg yolks (whites used in cake)
1 1/2 cup sugar
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 pkg coconut, 7 oz., about 2 1/3 cup chopped
1 1/2 cups chopped pecans, or walnuts, or both

Directions:
Directions:
Stir milk and all other ingredients, except vanilla and nuts, together in double boiler; cook until thick; add nuts and vanilla. Punch holes in top of cake with wooden spoon handle and frost lightly. Let cool about 10 minutes, then complete frosting and store in refrigerator. If you have extra frosting, store and use it when cake is completely cold. Will frost a 2 layer, 10 inch cake. Prep: 10 min.
