1/4 c butter 3/4 c sugar 1 egg 2/3 c mashed bananas 1/2 c nuts 2 c flour 1/2 tsp soda 1/2 tsp baking powder 1/4 tsp salt 3 tbsp sour milk
Cream shortening, add sugar and mix. Beat egg well. Blend and stir in bananas. Sift flour before measuring. Combine with other dry ingredients. Add dry ingredients alternately with sour milk and add nuts. Bake one hour, at 350º.
