1 c chopped onion
1 1/2-2 tsp poultry seasoning
1 1/2 c chopped celery
1 1/2 tsp ground sage
3/4 c butter
1/2 tsp celery salt
1 lb chopped fresh mushrooms or one small can
1/2 tsp salt
8 c dry bread cubes (about 14 slices cut in 1/2 inch cubes
1/2 tsp pepper
1-1 1/2 c liquid ( water, chicken broth or giblet water)

Directions:
In a 4 cup glass measure, add onion, celery and butter. Microwave (high) 4-5 minutes, stirring once. Add mushrooms. Microwave (high) 1 1/2 minutes if using fresh. Combine with bread, poultry seasoning, sage, celery salt, salt and pepper. Toss with liquid to moisten. Enough to stuff 10-12 lb bird. Or bake at 350 in 9 X 9 baking dish for 30 minutes.
