1 1/2 c. powdered sugar cookies
1 c. butter or margarine
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp almond flavoring
2 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. cream of tartar

Directions:
Directions:
Mix sugar and butter. Add egg and flavorings; mix thoroughly. Measure flour. Stir dry ingredients together and blend into sugar mixture. Refrigerate 2-3 hours. Preheat oven to 375. Roll dough to 3/16" thick. Cut with cookie cutter. Bake 7-8 minutes-NO MORE. *These dough can also be shaped into a ball, rolled in sugar, and then flattened before baking for a simple, yummy cookie.
