3/4 c. butter flavor Crisco
1 1/4 c. firmly packed light brown sugar
2 Tbs. milk
1 Tbs. vanilla
1 egg
1 3/4 c. all purpose flour
1 tsp. salt
3/4 tsp. baking soda
1 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips

Directions:
Directions:
Heat the oven to 375F. Combine Crisco, brown sugar, milk, and vanilla in a large bowl. Beat at medium speed until creamy. Add the egg and beat. In a separate bowl, combine the flour, salt and baking soda, mix into creamed mixture until just blended. Stir in the chocolate chips. Drop dough by rounded Tbs- 3" apart on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 375F for 8 - 10 minutes. Cool on baking sheet for 2 minutes. Remove to cooling rack.
