1 package (18 ounces)
Butter recipe golden cake mix
3 eggs
c butter or margarine, softened
7 Tbsp water
3 Tbsp limejuice


Filling:
1 can (14 ounces) sweetened
condensed milk
c lime juice
2 c whipping cream, whipped
Lime slices, optional

Directions:
Directions:
In a mixing bowl, combine dry cake mix, eggs, butter, water and lime juice. Beat on medium speed for 4 minutes. Pour into two greased and floured 9-in. round baking pans. Bake at 375 deg for 2025 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Cool for 10 minutes before removing from pans to wire racks. When cool, split each cake into two horizontal layers. In a bowl, combine milk and lime juice. Fold in the whipped cream. Spread about 1 c between each layer and over top of cake. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour. Garnish with lime slices.
