4 eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
c baking cocoa
2/3 c shortening
2 c sugar
1 c all-purpose flour
1 tsp baking p0wder
tsp salt
1 c chopped nuts, divided

Directions:
Directions:
In a mixing bowl, beat shortening, sugar, eggs and vanilla just until smooth. Combine dry ingredients; stir into batter. Fold in half the nuts. Spread into a greased 13 x 9 x 2 inch baking pan. Sprinkle remaining nuts on top. Bake at 350 degrees for 2025 minutes or until brownies pull away from the sides of the pan. Cool on wire rack. Cut into squares.
