4 boneless pork chops, 1 tsp. vegetable oil, 2 T. brown sugar, salt and pepper to taste, 1/8 tsp. cinnamon, 1/8 tsp. ground nutmeg, 3 T. butter, 2 apples (peeled, cored, and sliced), 1/2 cup applesauce.

Preheat oven to 175 and place medium dish in the over to warm. Heat skillet, and brush chops with vegetable oil. Cook in skillet until done. Transfer to the warm dish in the oven. In a bowl, combine brown sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Add butter to skillet, add apples and brown sugar mixture and cooke until tender. Add applesauce. Remove apples and put them on the chops in the oven, Heat leftover sauce until thick. Remove chops from oven, pour sauce on top and serve.
