4c. sugar 4c. water 1 2oz jar instant coffee 1 (100 proof) fifth of bourbon or vodka 1 split vanilla bean or 2 T vanilla
Put sugar and water in large pot and cook over medium heat until sugar melts. Add coffee and bring to a boil. Stir until coffee dissolves and remove from heat. When this is completely cooled, add liquor and vanilla. Pour into dark bottles and let ssit for 2 weeks.
