1/2c. shortening (margarine)
2/3c. sugar
3 eggs
1 tsp. baking powder
1-3/4c. flour
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. anise oil

for Chocolate Pizzelles:
same as above, but omit anise oil and add:
1/4c. cocoa, 1/4c. sugar &
1/2c. finely chopped nuts

Directions:

Mix ingredients together and cook according to Pizzelle Iron directions.

These Italian Cookies are so delicious. They have been around since we were little. They have such a great flavor. These are great to serve at weddings!
