"As I ate the oysters with their strong taste of the sea and their faint metallic taste that the cold white wine washed away, leaving only the sea taste and the succulent texture, and as I drank their cold liquid from each shell and washed it down with the crisp taste of the wine, I lost the empty feeling and began to be happy, and to make plans."--Ernest Hemingway

Heat oil in wok. Add garlic and cook until light brown. Add meat and stir constantly for approximately 2 mins. or until no longer red. Remove meat from wok. When cabbage us soft, return beef to wok and mix.

Personal Notes:
I omit the green pepper and sometimes substitute a yellow onion for scallion. It's very good served over rice but no longer dietetic.
