1 qt. ice cream, any flavor
1 brownie, cut to the size of the qt. of ice cream
5 egg whites
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
2/3 c. sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Place brownie on baking sheet and top with 1 qt. ice cream. Put back in freezer. For meringue, beat egg whites, vanilla and cream of tartar until soft peaks form. Gradually add sugar, beating until stiff peaks form. Layer meringue on top of ice cream and seal to edges. Place oven rack in the lowest position. Bake at 500 for 2-3 minutes or until golden brown. Serve immediately.
