2 Large Onions
2 Tablespoons Paprika
2 1/2 pounds veal or chicken
1/2 cup water
Salt to taste
4 T. of lard (No substitute or it will not taste the same as Mom's)


For Dumplings:

2 eggs
2 Tablespoons water
Flour

Directions:
Directions:
Saute the onion with lard when soft add paprika. Add veal or chicken, salt and water. Cook until done about 2 1/2 hours.

For Dumplings.
Mix eggs and water. Add Flour until a spoonable dough is formed. Drop into salted water and when cooked, drain and add to the veal or chicken.

Serve on Wide noodles. Sour cream if desired. Mother did not serve with thee cream.
