1 cup white sugar
1/4 pound butter
2 eggs
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup raw oatmeal
1-1/4 cups boiling water
1-1/3 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 teaspoon cinnamon

Directions:
Directions:
Pour boiling water over oatmeal and let stand 10 minutes. Cream butter and sugar and add eggs. Add cooled oatmeal and beat. Add dry ingredients and vanilla. Pour into 13" x 9" x 2" greased pan. Top with the following: 1-1/2 scant cup brown sugar, 1-1/2 cup flaked coconut, 1 cup choppped nuts, 4 teaspoons melted butter, 3 teaspoons milk. Mix well and spread over unbaked cake. Bake at 350 for about 35 minutes.
